Hey everyone,

I'm new here but I've been lurking around the forums for a few months. My name is Amanda, I'm 23 and from Sydney, Australia :)

I joined SPW because I wanted to meet others with social anxiety. I struggle mainly with blushing. It started 7 years ago, at the end of high school. In the past I've also been depressed.

I currently go to uni and I've been there for 6 years already! Uni really isn't the easiest place for people with SA, hence why I've been there for so long. My course is only 3 years long and I've taken up to a year off during the 6 years. I'm studying social science and majoring in psychology. My uni is huge and I've been there for ages yet have made only a handful of friends.

Anyway it would be great to hear from you all.

Hi and welcome, Amanda. Which uni are you at? I almost went to Sydney uni and it looks terrifying, haha.

hey whats up i'm new too :) 26/m in New York.I know college is hard with social phobia i've been through it.dropped in and out of college because of it but i finished.It might seem hard but were all here to help ya

Thanks for the welcome :)

I go to the University of New South Wales. It's a pretty nice uni. Yeh I agree, Sydney uni is a bit daunting, perhaps it's the old castle vibe it gives off!

After 6 years I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. If all goes well I'll be finished in a few weeks. I can't wait!

Welcome to SPW!

The weather has been very unpredictable. Rainy one day, really hot the next. We're up for a warm next few days and then it's gonna go cold again. Weird.

haha the weather is bad... By any chance do u live around kambramatta? i went to sydney few months back
