tems machines!
going back to those tems machine things, about a year ago i woke up and my shoulder and arm were in severe pain, i had to rest my arm on 2 cushions to begin with, but then i remembered i had one of those machines, so i charged up the batteries, and set it to the lowest setting which is 1. then gradually turned it up to 10! (aye i can count to 10!)
the pain seemed to vanish completely. i just put it down to a pulled muscle!
a few days later a friend turned up and said "you have to go to the fkn hospital, your arm is broken" ! (by this time i was completely spaced out on pain killers and wine)(red wine)
i didnt go that night cause there was football on the tv
the following afternoon i thought i would go just to get a checkup. but it turned out that my arm was actually dislocated from my shoulder ("dislocated shoulder" is the technical term supposedly)
"when did it happen" they asked me "a few days ago" i said.
"and this is the first of you thinking about coming to hospital"
"aye"
by this time i had went through about 16 AAA batteries!!
so they had to plug my arm back in to its socket (like eh martin riggs in leathal weapon!)
THE POINT IS, AND I HOPE SOMEONE AGREES! PHYSICAL PAIN IS NOTHING COMPARED TO MENTAL PAIN!
ps, they gave me a sling for my arm, i had to use for a fortnight that the NHS wanted back, but when i took it back they said "just keep it til next time"
