hello to everyone, im new and a bit scared!

hi, so you'd think talking to strangers would be easier over the internet....up until recently i thought i was just a ridiculously nervous person, an a bit of a freak to be honest! well thats what im told for being scared of the phone, getting on buses, meeting up with my friends, even the anonymous chatroom! then i was searching on sites about anxiety and came across some descriptions of SA. it was like someone had turned the lights on, id never even heard of it before, but now i at least have the comfort of knowing im not crazy or a wierdo! anyway, would like to say hi to everyone here, i would love to talk to anyone who wants to/needs to once i've settled in (if ya know what i mean, it is a bit scary!), and in the mean time, cheery bye! xxxxxxxxxxxx

Welcome QueCera! Don't be scared (easier said than done i know) Everyone is very supportive here so don't worry about being judged or anything, most of us know exactly what you're going through. I found out about SA a few months ago and I'm still scared to post some things here even though no one knows who I am. It's gotten easier though. Hope to chat with you sometime.

I completely understand what you are talking about.I was like that to when I first came here.I was scared of posting here to but there really nothing to be afraid of.This what this place is for and most of us have gone through what you have so no one will judge you or think your a weirdo.This is a surported place and i'm sure you will find what you are looking for.
