My name is Andrés. I live in Costa Rica, Central America. I'm looking forward to find some help here.
In march, my psychiatric diagnosed me with Social Anxiety Disorder after starting to get panic attacks.
I started medication using Paxil.... By June, I ended a long-term 7 year relationship with a girl. I had a lot of stress coming out from my family for my decision, I had the hardest times of my live.
A couple of weeks after, I decided to take an overdose of Clonazepam. I locked into my room and expected the worst.... Lucky for me my brother was in the house too, so he was able to get inside and call my family. They took me to the hospital and saved my life.
After that, I started psychological therapy. I was able to gain some control over my mind, panic attacks almost ended.... I started a new relationship with a nice and special girl....
Right now I'm dealing with ocassional panic attacks, past-relations sex issues, etc....
Some days I feel 70% happy, but other days I just fall to 20% or 30% of happiness. :sad:
