Hi my name is Cat and I'm quite new to forum life on the Net. I have joined one other forum and found it to be a very positive experience so I thought I'd try here maybe to have people to talk to that have similar experiences around Agoraphobia.
I am looking forward to my time here and meeting some of you.
I will say I have suffered Agoraphobia for 26yrs, some of those being much worse than others. At this point in my life I am able to go out and even to socialise, although that is usually with some help thru my old friend alcohol. I do not feel shame about my condition or the fact that I occassionally use a crutch to help me.
I am comfortable with my life and only regret that sometimes loneliness can be hard to deal with.
Well I seem to have well and truly "opened up" here in my first post, hope it's not too much information!
