head girl presentation - feeling like crap

Hey all.
I had my presentation/interview for head girl today. I wanted it so so badly, as i thought it would be such a good oppertunity for me to try and overcome my SA a bit, but i didn't get it.
I thought i did really well too :(
I tried my hardest to make eye contact, and when they were evaluating my interview, they said that everybody had good eye contact except me :(
I'm just so incredibly pissed off about this right now. The girl they chose allways pisses around in lessons, gets crappy grades and wears loads of greebo make up/clothes in school. The worst thing is that i know i will get the mick taken outta me tommorow because i was expected by msot students to get it, even though i didn't think the same, and they will prey on that. effin school !! :evil: the bad people get rewards for doing one little thing thats good ever so often, but the good people don't get jack shit.
Just needed to get that out. :(

Sad to hear that you haven't managed... :(
But it's very important, that you tried (I, by the way, can't imagine if I could want to be a "head boy" when having the SA 8O ). At least I think so. Don't worry.

I belive things ment to be the way they happen so for some reason that was the best thing that could have happened.
I know this isnt a big trust but still keep on tryin as we got to go till you reach what you lookin for.
You brave by the way had been worse if you dont even try !
Im not english so cant write but hope it made some sense..

ive jus applied for head girl n i have my interview
n theres about 8 of my closest friends going for it alos, n then 3 total assholes that if they get it i swear i'll jus faint.
N then my best friend is bein told she'll get it by everyone n shes in the exact possition you are in
although she probly will get it as the teachers have told her as well
favouratism hahaa
altough i'm not that botherd as she is my best friend n i will support her :)
although i hope i get deputy
a little power :D
