has anybody had successful treatment for there SAD, or what have you done to help your SAD, for example have you tried CBT did it help you. if you took meds what meds did you take. How much better do you feel.

I am currently on lexapro and xanax, i dont want to be on xanax i dont like the sedating effect of it, so i am thinking about trying CBT or ACT.

To me, successful treatment means being able to work full-time, being able to study, go shopping, visit relatives, and do what needs to be done. By that standard, ACT has been a successful treatment for me. I still have anxiety and depression but I'm able to deal with it a lot better. Definitely try ACT for yourself.
