Has Anyone Ever Though About it this way?

I figured that anything you do that embarrasses you I tell myself in 100 years who's going to care? Sometimes it works other times it doesn't. I thought I made this notion up on my own but one day I watched The Terminator and it was said in there, I was kinda surprised.

But seriously next time you get embarrassed think about it. It might help, it might not. Just a suggestion.

Doesn't this sort of upset the whole notion of responsability? If you are not taking responsability for your actions in the present (but saying 'what does it matter in 10 years anyhow'), then you can practically do anything without consequences because you don't care, it'll be forgotten in 10 years.

No I don't mean it as in a philosophically situation, I mean it as a real life situation like talking in front of a group of people, expressing your opinion, ect. Not as doing what you wish. I don't mean this as like breaking the law or ignoring your responsibilities, but as a means of getting over your SA.
