My favorite Sean Connery story was about how he beat-up notorious mafia tough guy, Johnny Stompanato.
Stompanato showed-up one day on the set of a film that his wife, Lana Turner was making with Connery. He was convinced she and Sean were having an affair, and the possessive mobster demanded to have a word with him. Connery soon appeared, asking what all the fuss was about, and when he did, Stompanato pulled a gun on him. Connery took the gun out of his hand, nearly broke Stompanato's wrist in the process, and coldcocked him over the head with it.

Also, that story just speaks to the "Nae fear" mentality that most Scotsmen have. Someone pulls oot a weapon n' threatens us n' oor response isn't: "Aww, fuck! Am probably gonnae die here". Naw, we're like: "Ha! Whit ye gonnae dae wi' that? Mon then...!!"

Not bad for an idea I just improvised and put together within the space of an hour before getting muh dinner, eh?
I spent about 10 minute playing that initially riff afore ah got brave n' looked away from the fretboard while playing it.

Yeah, I also fucked up my timing around the 20 second mark and played 2 of the notes oddly.If I only was a more boring guitar player, I wouldn't be prone to such mistakes.

Well, I had an argument with my oldest sibling over this idea today. Ah say, it's a riff. She's more convinced that it's a guitar solo.
And I'm still not 100% sure what I could do to get a couple more minutes out of it.
Since I haven't really written a full song on the guitar, yet.

Both are accurate since ah wus going for an 80's vibe. And y'know... I did unintentionally rip-off Van Halen with realising.
The Van Halen comparision is quite humbling, given that I don't think my playing is even on a par with the late great, legendary Eddie Van Halen
