Good haircut styles for men?

So I am looking to(maybe) change my haircut and would like some opinions,want mid or short size,I was thinking of cutting like this --

but this guy is a model,so probably any haircut would look good on him,I would just buzz all,but I have been told it doesnt look good on me.

I just let my hair grow until it reaches my eyes and then I shave it all off. I can't be bothered to do anything else with it.
