Found my nephew on MySpace

I haven't seen him in 10 years, now he's 20, all grown up and it's making me feel so bad. I left a message for him, but he most likely will not get back to me. Who knows what his mother has said to him about me and my brother; our older brother who has passed is my nephew's dad. I did write to his mom a few years ago but never got a response, and one day she just decided to stop communication with my brother and I. I never had a real sense of family, and haven't even had my own yet because I avoid dating with a passion. What would my nephew find out that would be good about me anyway? He seems so popular and is even engaged to be married, just a great kid like I knew he would be. It was always so nice to be refered to as 'Kim' when I would call his house when his Dad was still alive, but his mom's sister was 'Aunt Kim'. One day when I called them, I said it was Aunt Kim, and they were all excited until they found out it was just me.

Lets look at this a different way.if he/they do not answer your message then it is them that are rude and not worth bothering with. You have opened the line of communication and if they chose to ignore you then they are seriously not worth bothering with. Don't waste energy worrying about people like that.

I have an aunt who decided she didn't like me anymore when I married someone who she saw in a different class to her. It really upset me in the beginning but now I just feel that I'm glad I've seen their true colours and I am better off without them.
