don't know. Living teenage years again seems really overwhelming for me although I know there's a chance to "reset" my life.
for those over 25

No, I don't think so. What happened to me in my childhood made me who I am todayl.
That's the real reason I would go back if I could. But we can't so we should look to the future with some hope for better things to come.
Back in the days when I was young I'm not a kid anymore
But some days I sit and wish I was a kid again
"Back in the Day" -Ahmad 😀
I wish i had my childhood back, I would have done things so much different.
yep! alot of this comes down to crap mentoring at home and in high school, i know that seems harsh but i think the education system and guidance for young people is really below where it should be ...if you can't get it (life training, good values) from your parents/family and you can't get anywhere with mentors at school or some form of help and elightenment at an early age then it can be troulesome for the future, its not always like that but think about how our beliefs and personalities affect our life ...
think about how the average parent goes about bringing up a child ..they can either allow each day to be an empty vessel of going through the motions or bringing up a child could mean teaching them alot while trying to be enthusiastic and optimisitc each day..how many people had cynical/negative/controlling minded parents growing up who were lost in their own worlds of work or self interest? do you realise how damaging that is to certain kinds of personas? ...i know its an excuse to deflect responsibility from ourselves, certainly i blame alot of how i handled situations in high school by running from problems ...but for me i felt like i was bullied at school and then at home by mean tempered family etc...there was little variety ....
so as you say if i knew what i've learnt now, especially through mistakes that i had to actually go through without prior knowledge or because i was ignorant and perhaps lazy minded, i would love to go back and do it over ...this could be an issue of late bloomers who mature later i don't know ...but it sucks and i have to give 150% just to catch up to everyone else i feel sometimes..

no ..not a chance !!!
I am 43 ..happy , fooked up , some days I get in bed and pull the quilt over my head and prey that sleep at least takes away a few hours of my mind torturing me .
But
I am what I am ...and that is fabulous
so you could say
I have so much experience of the realities of life and how fckin cruel it can be ...and I wouldn't shirk that experience or what I know to start it again, instead I embrace what I am now .

people say they would have done things differently but i'm not sure that's true. we tend to react to things in whatever way is natural to us. can you really go against your basic personality? even with the awareness of how things turned out. Sure, you might try some different choices but overall, I think our lives would be similiar.Chlo said: ↑I wish i had my childhood back, I would have done things so much different.
oh yea. thats for sure. it might be worth it just to have that opportunity. i'd want to take some boxing lessons before i went back though.jneal25 said: ↑Yes I would. There's quite a few people on the playground I would like to punch in the face.
mental depravity.
it 35 to 50 for women and 19 for guys. who thought that up? it's not fair!token_asian_friend said: ↑Aw, no worries. You're only as old as you feel. 🙂
And I think I was wrong anyway. I think 25 is your physical peak.
Yeah, but it's worthless to think about. There's no going backkkk.

i say the same thing quite often, but i find that now and again you cant help yourself thinking about it and what you would do and change
Sometimes yes, I wish I could start over, knowing what I know now. Things would have went quite differently. But its something I can't think about for too long. But yes there are moments I feel that way.
yes. There were definitely some factors contributing to my SA that were beyond my control (never really had much of a relationship with my father, lived in a very isolated location) but there are some decisions from my childhood that I'd give anything to go back and change.
God no. My teens were the worst. Even with insight I would hate to go back and live through it again.
I'm not 25 yet, but I don't think I would want to go back to my childhood, not because it was great, but I just don't think I could have done anything much differently. However, I would like to go back to the time when I was 18, not because I could have then done alot more, but at least I would have done something more with my life than doing nothing at that point.
But in all truthfulness, I wish I've never been born.
yes i would id like to go back to 15
