ever more anxious round guys?

Does anyone get more anxious around guys/men than girls/woman? i do, and i think they seem to notice that you have a problem more. Has anyone ever had guys say to you "Do you ever talk?" or "Talk!!?" and stuff? i have but i've also had it from girls too, but i think it concerns guys more if you don't talk or how much you talk, don't you think?

i've just noticed my sister's got guys out in the back garden, talking, but i'm sure they won't be there for long, coz they have an exam in afternoon. I'm staying upstairs :lol:

Both yes and no. I tend to be quite anxious around boys I don't know, usually the pretty ones...yea yeah I know it is silly, but it doesn't make it any less true I'm afraid. However when I first get to know them I find it actually easier to talk and hang out with guys than girls... Not because of anxiety, but rather interests I guess...

That's right,it's worse with guys. I'm more anxious with them and for this reason I try to look more confident with them. But it's easier to be myself with girls.

I'm the complete opposite, I can feel fairly okay and confident around guys, but when with girls I don't know, I feel like I'm being judged, cos girls can be so bitchy sometimes.

Well gender don't bother me to much unless some girl is sooo hot I instantly go red, hmm lets make some types :lol:

1 girl & 5 guys: the girl is most likely some bitch who will say why dont you ever talk, your weird etcetc.

5 girls: if 1 starts picking on you probobly the ring leader fancys you.

1 girl on her own: probobly ok to talk to because she wont be like how she is with friends.

id go for 1 but most times none :lol:

Oh I totally agree Crazy fairyx. Females are capable of making such nasty remarks and looks. In fact, sometimes the looks give away a lot more than what they actually say.

But then, I get confused because I think that maybe I'm being overly sensitive and actively looking for horrible personality traits, simply because of the nature of our SP.

But female intuition is a very strong thing.

It's really only guys that I'm attracted to that I feel anxious around. I used to work at a grocery store with my crush, and yeah, I'd always get "talk!!" or some line like that from him. Other than that though, I'm usually somewhat comfortable around guys. Because I really do feel that girls are way more judgmental about your clothes, your hair, your makeup, etc etc etc.

yes..i am more anxious around attractive guys. its starts off with a slight blush, then I think they can see me blushing to I blush even more . i haven't been in actual "physical contact" with a guy who i find attractibe in a while because of this. it wasn't bad when i was at college but now its just worse.
what a shame..I know i am missing a lot. :roll:

Yeahhhh I completely agree with that!! that's how I feel too. Not that it's always easy around guys tho.

But I have a tendency to flirt, or I did more before I got married. Flirting a lot was a way to cover up who I really am and a way of getting a different kind of attention from guys, like they wouldn't get to know who I really was. Does anyone else relate to that?

Yeah I'm such a flirt lol, but it is all just a cover, a way I can come across as confident but doesn't work if any girls I don't know are around lol.

Most of the time girls don't even realise they're 'flirting', it's just them being friendly and the guy is misinterpreting it. A lot of the time guys just take it as an ego boost and leave it at that lol, probably the safest idea lol!!
