I feel sorry for this lonely_world person having to tell other people that "boo-hoo someone I don't know and will probably never meet said something bad about me on the interwebz even though it's not true and I have nothing to worry about along with the fact that it was probably a joke/misunderstanding and so forth."
Sad, really.
Oh my god, krs2snow said that you starve your dogs! Oh god, then it must be true!
Jesus, if it's not true, then what are you worrying about exactly?
Seriously, lighten up. If you take everything THIS seriously, it'll make everything harder. Learn to know what matters, what's relevant, and what's not.
Lonely_world, you need to know that if you've done nothing wrong, then you need to stop worrying so much about things. So your neighbors said shit about you. So what? You've done nothing wrong, right? Then fight back, get some revenge or simply ignore them or defeat them by being extra nice to them just to piss them off. When you walk by them and notice how they're giving you the evil eye, smile and say "well hello there Mr(s) X, lovely day outside, don't you agree?"
It'll drive them insane.
As for what happened on the message board, again, the same logic applies: if you've done nothing wrong, then you've got nothing weighing on your conscience. Keep doing the right thing and it'll be okay.
