I am starting a new job (after years of not having one due to anxiety). I am single, no dependents, don't own house or have my own apartment. What do I put on my w-4 form? Am I exempt because I did not make any money last year (I am reading some conflicting stuff on the internet about what qualifies you to be exempt)? I don't know how much exactly I will make this year. Anyone have experience with filing exempt?
