Hi,
I was on Tegretol ( Carbamazepine) my GP prescribes me to take 400mg daily.
Just recently I was given effexor XR 37.5mg by my Psychiatrist
By the time I take it in the morning I developed chills, panic, shivering, grinding of teeth.
I take my tegretol only at nite before sleep.
Is this effect going to go?
I got my appointment with my Psychiatrist in mid September.
Has anyone find effexor causing more anxiety?
