Dronee waxing lyrical

(Just a little hobby of mine)

Once a part
Now apart
A plucky heart
Now a crimson shard

So a hardened heart
For a brand new start
But. But. And once more But
But advanced not a yard

Cause the man apart
He's picked apart
Who from laughter, barred
Who from taunting, scarred.

So be a part?
But a part of what?
Cause it's just so hard
When you're a man of heart

Once again he's on his guard
With his smiling mask, his perfect art
Though he stands not but a yard
The smiling man, he stands apart.

(Though I wrote this, it's really not me... Though sometimes I think it's really all or most of us sometimes, if that makes any sense.)

i think u posted this in the wrong section, anyways hi dronee and how r ya? Thats a pretty good poem.

Oh... I thought to introduce myself through the poem. But it sort of took a life of its own I now realized.

How am I? Still alive, thanks for asking... and yourself? I always answer that not because I'm trying to be snide, but because it's something positive that is always true... Like saying "I'm fine" seems to be a blatant lie sometimes. But 'still alive' is always true. Haha... You'd need to be alive to type or say it. Haha.. I'm rambling.

But thanks for the complement. Hmmm... introductions? I'm a mid twenties guy of mixed heritage. A bit on the eccentric side at times. Likes intellectual stuff. Likes most sports. Likes artistic stuff and most music... Don't really like the more 'frantic' types of music that's too fast paced and has too much shoutings and screamings. Likes most kinds of food.

Why am I here? Well, let's just say that I have problems. Then again, everyone does... Reminds me of that paradoxical phrase... "You're unique, just like everyone else..."

Why 'dronee'? It's a joke or at least a humourous reference to something for those who have played the game and watched it.

You know, the internet is really an amazing thing. But what is really more amazing to me is how people of different cultures, of different backgrounds... through the internet, we find that we really share mostly the same kinds of problems. Underneath all the labels of white, blacks, Asians, religions... etc...
Most people are just really people trying to make sense of things...

Im doing fine, can be better though. At the moment im suffering insomnia, i cant sleeep!
Im guessing you love playing chess etc? What kind of sports do you like? Just curious have u eaten durian before? If so what do you think of the smell? For me i dislike the smell but it tastes great haha. Never heard of the game called dronee before, but would to try it. Is it like a shooting game or something?

I know a great deal about insomnia first hand... Much much more than I'd like to... sigh... Really is a terrible feeling.

Yup good guess. I used to play tournaments regularly with the occasional trophies. Represented my schools all the way, except for university cause I was too busy. Sports? All kinds... I'm not a great swimmer though and things like ballet are not really my type. Other than that, most conventional stuff like soccer, basketball, hiking and so on I engage in with my friends occasionally (we used to play everyday, but we are busy these days).

Yup. Durians. Eaten lots of them. I think there was once I ate like five or six at once and felt a bit light-headed. I like the smell and the taste. Well, mostly the taste. Did you know, according to a Malay custom, you should take a drink using the durian itself as a sort of cup? The water tastes different, like it's cooler or something when I tried it.

A drone is a 'worker unit' in a computer game called starcraft. This game is extremely popular in South Korea, like it's their national sport. But the commentators have a habit of adding an 'eee' sound after every unit when they are excitedly shouting.

Haha... I'm not good at the sports part though as I'm fairly small built. Amongst average Asians, I probably can compete though, but not against larger built types. But I enjoy the games themselves nonetheless.

Hmmm... food... You know there is really a great diversity of them in the world? Yummy... All kinds of cooking styles. I've never played an mmo though... Find that it takes up lots of time? But if you play it though, you must have had lots of contacts with the guilds and all? Or are you more of the solo explorer?

I like your poem a lot. You have a good mind, to craft such. :)

And thank you for your reply in the 'How are you feeling?' thread, by the way. :)
