I downloaded a movie off the internet. When it began downloading, the words "sexual assault" was said on the tv in the other room. Because that's such an awful thing, I told myself I had to download the movie again which I did and the words "accused" was said on the tv in the other room. I know this sounds stupid but how do I get over the notion that I have to keep downloading the same movie over and over based on what is said on the tv in the other room. I know it doesn't make any sense but nothing about my OCD makes any sense. Please give any advice you can.

I don't think anyone's OCD makes sense. Mine is ridiculous. Maybe try turning the TV off when downloading, or if you can't, close the door so you can't hear it. It may not cure your OCD, but could possibly help with this particular problem.
