I've been filling out applications, and nowadays most applications are done online. Last time I checked, having a shaved face doesn't show through a job application over a computer. Believe me, I'm hoping I get an interview eventually, and when that happens I will shave, clean myself up and wear nice clothes to the interview. I care about being professional when the time calls for it, but right now I'm not talking to any1 so worrying a bunch about personal appearance would be a silly waste of time. The only time appearance matters is when you are hanging with friends, working, or having an interview (or in some cases turning in an app in person). All I'm doing now is turning in applications, most of them are online, I don't have friends, so dressing up to hang around the house doesn't make sense.
