Does Prozac work?

how well does Prozac work? the doctor is going to put me on it,
I am currently on effexor and apo amitriptyline with mixed results

I'm not sure why docs are still prescribing it.

There was a report a couple of months ago that examined a large no. of unpublished studies (the ones the drug companies don't want you to see), the overall result was that it was no more effective than a placebo pill..
