I sure like the free candy!
I remember that when I was younger I didn't like dressing up though, and my mom told me that I would say every year, "but I don't want people to look at me!" haha, that sure hasn't changed.

i used to love it when i was a little girl and didnt suffer from depression and SA..no I dread having to go out on halloween

Yes!!! I love Halloween! I love dressing up as various vampires and ghouls! Last year i went trick or treating as a zombie doll hybrid thing. I had a lovely dress with bows and petticoats etc. and then my face was smeared with all sorts of gore and blood! I scared some kids that night, i can tell you!! I always go OTT with my costume - it's an escapism thing, of course. A much appreciated chance to be someone different, if only for one night a year. And, i don't know why, but wearing a costume just makes me feel so much more confident - the transformation is scarily dramatic. Shy one moment, then a complete extrovert. It's really weird.
Unfortunately, however, i'm not trick or treating this year. All my friends are on holiday - literally all of them - so i'm languishing in loneliness at the moment No sweets for me.

I used to love trick-or-treating when I was younger.
We used to get an impressive amount of chocolate and money. I remember once someone giving us a bottle of lager despite the oldest in our party being 13! :lol:
It's a shame Halloween isn't celebrated more in the UK. As usual, there hardly seems to be anything horror/ ghost orientated on TV this year.
