I was watching a documentary on dreaming and I found out that when you're in the R.E.M (Rapid Eye Movement) stage of sleep, the same part of the brain that makes you depressed/angry/other negative emotions, is stimulated and people with depression tend to go directly into R.E.M sleep when they fall asleep, and stay in it. That's why I always have tons of super weird dreams (All your weird dreams that don't make sense occur during R.E.M.) and that's why I have a lot of trouble getting up in the morning..because I've just come out of a really deep sleep.
I don't know how to make this into a more "chattable" topic, but I just thought you guys might find the information interesting
