Could this work for people with hyperhidrosis?

I just read this article about stopping sweat with deep brain stimulation for people with Parkinsons disease... could it work for hyperhidrosis?

Wish there was more information about it, like how do they do deep brain stimulation? They might be on to something here.

yeah, the article came out in 2009 so i don't understand why there wasnt more research on it.
