Hi im new here but just thought ide see if anyone else can relate.
Been taking citalopram antidepressant/antianxiety for about a year and a half now and noticed ive definately put on weight and, even worse, having trouble losing it despite exercise and diet.
I know weight fluctuations are a common complaint with SSRI'S but wondering if anyone has experienced similar side effects and what you did about it?
ps citalopram (celexa) is a brilliant drug for social anxiety in my opinion and would reccomend it to anyone on this site. This is why i am reluctant to change meds. Think ide rather have clear head than be an anxious mess like i used to be. but dammit i need to tone up :
