I agree. I hate double standards in general. My bf used to feel really awkward whenever I offered to pay..I think he still does to some degree. But why shouldn't a girl pay once in a while? We can make our own money nowadays...

I had a friend who had the attitude of "I'd hot a man but even if she hits me, I'll never hit a woman back because I respect women" and I told him straight up, that kind of attitude was more condescending than respectful because it comes from a stigma that basically says "There's no way you could kick my ass so it would be totally unfair to hit you". I say if she has enough balls to hit anybody, then she's got enough balls to take a hit. Plus I see no reason why women should be respected any more than men should.

Maybe you should do something else in your life instead of trying to date. Its not so much the womens fault its your own. Quit trying to be an insecure person wanting to throw your problems on someone else, and start to gain your own life back. Just maybe by then a woman may notice you and like you. Then everything will be great and the relationship will be healthy.

Yea...why do men have to pay for every ****ing thing? btw, whos the idiot who created this rule. I will do it out of being a nice guy, but for sure i will not spend 1.6k on a date. That's just insane...

No one made up the rule. Its the shit you watch on TV that gives you these ideas. Thats where most people get their perception on how to socialize and how they are suppose to behave and everything they need to buy and ways to improve themselves. And its all nonsense. Theres 2 ways you can go about this, you can accept it and not complain, or you dont.
