Yep. They're thinking "Eurgh! What a loser/weirdo/freak". I've had dreams that have come true.

Same here. Just when I tell myself, "You're overreacting and being too sensitive", people will have already thought I was a weirdo. Sometimes I'm amazed by how accurate my predictions are.

I wonder if interpreting body language, social cues and tone of voice - as well as reading in between the lines and using ones intuition and common sense equates to mind reading.

I can read people so easily that way.
i suppose it's years of not getting the reactions that i had hoped and realising that people act certain ways with others than they do with me.
i can even tell when someone tries to disguise it.
maybe there is a different reason, though im pretty sure a good chunk of the time it's because it's me that makes them uncomfortable. i make everyone uncomfortable.
