I love word games. I figured I could use a game that most, if not all, of us know of and can play together.
Use only English.
I have a picture of the letters on a Boggle board (next post).
You can take as long as you need to find all the words you can.
Please write down ALL words you can find BEFORE posting.
Accepted words are at Merriam Webster.
MW supports Scrabble so you should use it too for this game.
If there is a word you doubt exist, go and check.
If you think it's misspelled, go and check,
You should know the rules but there are people who don't know the true rules of Boggle.
I will explain them.
Rules
You must know how to form words from the game.
You can go in a straight line and/or diagonally.
They MUST connect.
No proper nouns.
Here are the words "sty" and "gum".
It's a combination of straight and diagonal lines.
You cannot skip letters or go back to another letter of the word.
Scoring
Form 3+ letter words only.
3 letters - 1point
4 letters - 1 point
5 letters - 2 points
6 letters - 3 points
7 letters - 5 points
8+ letters - 11 points
The letter with RED around it is a bonus letter.
You are to double the points of the word.
I still have yet to figure out how I will restart the game if enough people play. Maybe I will figure it out soon.
