Best way to take Xanax before a stressful event?

My Wedding on Sunday so PLEASE help!!!!!!!

Somebody told me is better to take 2mg one hour before everything begins?
Will this last for twelve hours or so?

I'm a mild social phobia case, only have problems when all attention is on me.

no, I think you need to take Xanax several times throughout the day. See if you can get some Xanax XR(Extended Release).
