Avert (glyccopyrrolate) best practices

Hey guys. I've been reading that some people are having problems with Avert or are taking Robinul multiple times per day.

I order my Avert from Pharmacy.ca and they have been working well for me for years. In the beginning I started with 1mg with I'm up to the 2mg now. Your body adjusts to the medication and eventually you have to go up. The 2mg has been working for a few years though.

The best practice I've found is to take it in the morning when you wake up on an empty stomach, then wait at least 2 to 2.5 hrs before eating.

One pill is enough for most of the day. The pill lasts for 12 hrs or so for me. Taking the pill in the middle of the day isn't as effective, as you have to not eat for 3-4 hrs before taking the pill (to empty your stomach), and another 2 hrs afterwards. Very inconvenient.

Sometimes pill doesn't work, but it's rare like 1/15 chance. It seems like the pill itself is a dud instead of the drug not working. Basically you should start getting dry mouth around 2.5-3 hrs. If I eat 1 hr after taking the pill, it doesn't work.

I got this advice from another poster a long time ago. Advert has been effective in treating overall sweating and I hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the advice. Can I ask where you live? I am travelling next year and I'm worried about going to hot and humid climates. And whether the avert will work or whether I will get heat stroke. I'll be going to china, Thailand and western Australia. So super duper hot! Have you experienced very hot weather on Avert. Thanks again for advice x

Thanks for posting this. I started using Avert around March and had about a 50/50 success rate with it. I think it's because I haven't figured out the best time to take it. I'll try your suggestions and see if it helps.
