Are your parents mean to you?

Yes. My dad is a very hard person to deal with, enough to where I stay in my room to avoid him and I get anxiety-attacks because of him.

My mom isn't mean, though; We may have our little disagreements, but that's mostly because I'm still a teenager and even though I'm not a social-person I still make mistakes and say bad things (usually about myself, which is when she gets frustrated) 😛

Off topic: Also, as stupid as this is to bring up, I've been told that even if you grew up in a bad home with a bad parent(s) you can still function normally when you're an adult, have a good family and treat your kids/spouse with respect/love that you weren't given growing up. I thought I'd just throw that out there.
Which is one of my fears, actually -- being like my really stressful/depressive/mean dad who I won't go in to detail about. I know I can avoid being like him, but what if it rubs off on me?
Oy, here comes the panic attack now. ;-;

They were never mean to me or any of my siblings, they just didn't cope all the time with raising five kids and all the other **** that happens in life.
