Are you competitive at all?

Competitiveness is not something I like to be honest, I have seen so many competitive people who seem jerks, a bit selfish, act like morons when it comes to anything that can be seen as a competition.

But it is something that motivated, driven people who are successful have in abundance. Strong characters are always competitive, whereas weak people kind of stand aside and let others take what they want.

I am wondering if trying to gain a competitive streak, determined to be a winner and get what we want could be something that would really help overcome SA.

Not really sure how one becomes competitive when you are not competitive in nature.

I just want to work to my potential. I disappoint myself with that, so I don't think I should worry about other people.

Yes I'm very competitive, but I wouldn't say I openly display that competitiveness. It's just that if I do something I have to do it well and be better than (most) others. My problem is that when I find out I'm not very good at something, then rather than putting everything into it and trying my best anyway, I'm more likely to give up instead. So I guess it means I'm competitive but lazy at the same time!

I'm not competitive at all....if I don't really try at anything because I'm so sure that I'll fail at it....I don't know how I would know that considering I'm too scared to try anything....I don't make sense do I? 8O

Depends on what I'm doing. A good competition is a healthy thing but it is a really bad thing when instead of doing good yourself you just worry about what the other guy is doing and get bitter. Two people competing in a bitter way will drag them both down and make them do worse.
