like have an uncontrollable urge to rock your head back and forth...

this is a bad habit that i never seem to be able to break.

i managed to stop for a long while, but stress has induced me start again.

frankly i'm very embarressed by it. This what mentally retarded and autistic people do.

I used to that in my youth , but i was moving my head left to right, while lying on a bed,on a pillow..it was like givin some rhytm to the melody i was "composing" and "playing" in my head . It also helped me to fall asleep. In fact that was the easiset way backthen to de-sentetize me sometimes from being adrenaline overrushed or overstimulated.

I have no explanation for this behaviour, neither i didnt know the datas you have given about in your first post. I never was retarded or mutistic, especially then , i was pretty sociable being, not so loud but hectic, full of various interests. Pretty good in expressing myself.

It took me pretty long to break the habbit.

Do you know that some religious people do some "shakings" of their body as a ritual of tranquilizing their minds for spiritual process?
