hey i was just wandering if there were any, because i feel like im the only one. I didnt realise there were people that felt the same way as me until i found this site, but i look in the pictures gallery and theres no black people with sa that live in uk here. I hate it mainly cause when a see another black person the anxiety raises up to another level, because i feel like i have to act a certain way otherwise they will think im not "black". And things like how they greet each other.... I havent got a clue how to greet another black person in the way in "suppossed" to.
I have other things i hate aswell, but if there is anyone that can relate to me, let me know.

sorry if my post doesn't make sense to anyone, thanx for your time anywayz )

Any black people with SA from the UK

.
Hey! I am from the US does that disqualify me?

Seriously..being black is about color only. Dont let people try to intimidate you in to thinking that if you act differently from the majority of your ethnic group you are not black.

I use to go thru that same crap in primary school but I stayed true to my self and search for the people who accepted me for who I am; and not worry about the way I talked or dress.

Be your self and the people that matter will stand with you.

Each ethnic group have their sterotypes but you must be you own person . Also we hope to see your official intro soon.

Hey,

Don't worry, what you're saying makes perfect sense.
The trouble is that each ethnicity has some kind of rules which they make to feel a sense of togetherness. But you DON'T have to follow those rules.

You're free to make your own choices. You're a human just like anybody else. Whether you're black, brown, white, Japanese, we are all humans.

Maybe you'll find Chinese friends who have the same passion as you instead of 10 black persons close to you. You just have to be yourself.

I have Moroccan parents and I found out that I have more non-Moroccan friends.

So my advice is, just be yourself, and you have a choice to not follow certain rules that some people make in society, "But I'm not talking about breaking the law :p".

sorry to keep saying "black people" but this is the only way I can explain what i want to say, but i do feel like an alien to them sometimes.

I am from the UK, but i'm lighter, like mixed-race or half caste or whatever you want to call it.
I understand what you are saying, and can relate. I myself feel that way sometimes.
best wishes.
