Usually I'm a very active youth that eats very clean and in general takes care of themselves. But here recently I've gone into a depression of sorts. I've multiple injury's(Keeping me for exercising), have picked up smoking once again and completely neglected my diet. So on this little binge of self pity I was down playing a game on my Wii, entirely relaxed, nothing bothering me when suddenly I get this tingly burning sensation all over my body and one even more intense in my chest. I do usually have this but only in my legs, tops of feet and face. But this one would far beyond that, and seemed to be triggered by nothing. I was entirely relaxed and calm, but was overtaken by this wave of extreme heat and left short of breath, and an extreme numbing tingle everywhere and entirely coated in sweat. This is the first time this has been so severe that I felt I would melt into the sofa if I didn't get up and do something about it. Is this what's referred to as a panic attack? Can it be possible to have on triggered by nothing at all?
This happened about.. 1 weeks ago. Since then I've gone back to my good ways of living, but I'm horribly curious to what that was..
As well, I feel I'll mention that today was the absolute best day for my sweating/tingly feelings/ anxiety since it began. I felt so normal today in school it was insane. For the first time in about a year and a half I felt a cold shiver. Though everything started up again shortly after lunch.
Right now actually I've still got this tingling going on, apparently triggered by nothing. But it's constant, and in my thighs/shins.
Anyone else experience this before? Possible solutions, ways to prevent this..?
I'm seeing a doc this Thursday. Finally got an appointment. Very anxious waiting for that day..
