If you substitute the word niggaz with friends, it applies to anyone.When i listen to the song, i can relate in my own way of what his lyrics mean. It is about loyalty and trust amongst friends and others. It's about trying to be good in your heart and looking out for those you care about, but sometimes having those same people turn on you and making you feel bitter. It is about turning the lamb into a lion, and making the lion roar and bare his teeth...letting the those around know--''you fucked up and stepped on my tail..you got my attention now, run and hide..''. Sometmes it is good to ''roar'', it lets others know that anyone can be pushed so much, but eventually, those being pushed sometimes push back harder..much harder---until push comes to shove and things are set right once again.
