Supplements to reduce sweating or something for the love of God

I just wondered what people take us supplements or diet changes because my sweating is so varied on a day to day basis. Sometimes I will be alright for most of a day (with the exception of my feet that sweat 24/7). But somedays like today I am soaked from the moment I wake up, regardless of room temperature.
I have been taking robinul with little effect, other than a dry throat. I took 3 mg when I woke up today and notice no difference. I actually think it may be making my sweating worse when I am off it. Maybe it works better for generalized sweaters but I have excessive sweating of the hands and feet so that is really all I notice is how soaked those 2 areas are. My feet are so bad I cannot go barefoot without making everything sticky and sweaty. It is unbearable. I do not understand why my body is doing this to me. I hope there is some solution to reduce it. I feel like going to LA to get this ETS at this point. I had botox too and it worked a little but wore off within 3 months and they would not do my feet.

Don't have your particular HH problem, but wonder if Secure pads (or I think Maxim pads) would help. Secure pads are a topical version of glycopyrrolate (=robinul) but might be good to apply directly. Just guessing--anyone know?

No, I have not tried iontophoresis. I have tried botox with some success but for some reason I cannot find a doctor who injects it in my feet. They will do my hands but say no we cannot do your feet. And it is covered by my insurance but only twice a year and it wears off quickly for me.

I had ETS... I can't say I recommend it. It is not a cure as it simply reroutes the sweat to other areas, and sometimes just simply doesn't work at all (my feet still sweat 24/7).

As for drugs, I recommend hyoscyamine as you can get it in 12-extended release capsules instead of having to pop Robinul every few hours. All these meds of course have other side effects which can take a while to get use to.

Since you mainly have it on hands/feet, why don't you go for iontophoresis. I don't regret one buck of the $600 I paid for my Idrostar machine. It works like a charm, and let me say this again from someone who was desperate and was going for ETS, it works! Iontophoresis works! Just make sure you follow the directions of the manufacturer and do the treatments as written. You should start seeing results between ten to fifteen days, sometimes it takes more. But you'll be wishing you had tried ionto before. I'm 24 and regret not knowing about it since I was at least 19 and went to college.

Interesting that robinol doesn't work for you. I've been using it for about 6 months now and it's been a godsend. 1 right when i wake up in the morning and 1 before lunch seems to work well for me. Cured my hands but underarms and feet still sweat a bit. I supplement with Odaban, which seem to help the underarms. A little dry throat from the pills but other than that no side effect. I tried the Iont machine years ago and it worked well the first time i used it under the arm but second time not so well. its a pain to find the time to do it.
