stupid/unusual fears

haha i'm with you grumblina. i am so skiddish, i am seriously afraid of the dark. i'm afraid of demons knowing that i'm thinking about them and that they'll bother me anyway for the hell of it. i've seen too many scarey movies.
oh yeah, i also am very very afraid of ticks. anything that can latch onto you and you can't just swat off, :::shiver::: you won't find me in tall grass to save my life.
and i'm not really afraid of this but i PERFER not to do it :wink: , but in the ocean, sticking my feet in water over my knees b/c then your feets sink in and who know's what under that sand. or water i can't see through... ugh, ok i'm done

ive always wanted a boat or a jet ski but what iam afraid of is that it might break down in the middle of the water and then what do i do :? i would have to ask someone for help and thats sometinhg i realy hate doing,so i have a kayak just now so i can get on the water because it has no engine on it to break down on me

i've only had one on me and i barely remember ripping it off, it was in the middle of the night and i just left it ther on the bathroom floor and went to bed crying lol
our cat brings it in though, one time i saw one crawling on the floor in the summer (isn't that weird? i never see them outside thank god). eventually i told my mom that i was going to spray the whole house since our cat was bringing so many in... haven't seen one since.
and yeah, i was brought up in the church, my mom told me a story of one time (this is way in the south when they still had tent revivals) in the chruch at a revival they were praying over a girl (my mom was probably 14 when she was watching this and she's not supersticious or anything) and a shadow came out of her in the shape of a cat and ran out. soooo yeah, i highly doubt that possession is anything but really really rare. maybe this belongs in the religion post lol, oh well....

I can't stand the dark. Its mainly shaddows, if I can't recongnise the shape I get freaked out.
Same with strange noizes, if they're new I get worried.
I'm also scared of Skeletons but I blame that on my uncle letting me watch Zombie films when I was a toddler.

im so freaked out by windows where you cant see the outside. like at night time, and its pitch black outside..and noises im not used to. the other night i was home alone and all the windows were open and it sounded like something was moving right around the house... i was a wreck for the whole night... 8O

I sometimes think there is ghosts that want to haunt me or something. I always just tell myself I'm nuts and get over it within a half-hour or so and nothing bad ever happens. It's weird, like I'm a child afraid of the dark. Sometimes when I'm trying to go to sleep negative images pop into my head out of nowhere. It has gotten better though. I use to have this problem alot. And I would try to distract myself from the thoughts by thinking of something else but then the scary thought would just come back. I'm glad that it doesn't happen very often anymore.

i get that sometimes too katienc478. ill just be trying to sleep, thinking of nothing in particular..and out of nowhere comes this horrible demon face all covered in blood... its happened a few times..and im not sure of what causes it. but it really scares me and it usually stops me from sleeping.
