Social phobia world get together?

Ok, I know this is maybe crazy.

But I was just wondering if SPW ever had a group get to gether type thing in your town where you could meet everyone from the forum, how many people would show even tho your shy or have SA or SP?

Just curious to see peoples answers.

I would go if I lived in a bigger city or a city where somebody besides me would actually show up...but I know there's probably no one else on this forum who lives too close to me. :(

I would like to think that I would go but I would probably chicken out at the last minute.
But as sadcat pointed out I would know that I wouldnt be the only uncomfortable one in the group. But there are a lot of really cool people here so it could be fun.

At first I thought "sure, I'd go". But now it seems there would just be a bunch of drunks there, and I don't wanna be DD.

I would actually go if I don't have any schoolwork and classes or have to drink alcohol, because I have some bad memories dealing with alcohol.:( If I was the only one to shown up, it won't matter to me since I just feel brave for shown up at all to it. :)

I'd go if it was close enough. Of course I say that now but probanly would either decide not to go at the last minute or actually go and end up just sitting in my car watching from afar.

i would def go and prob feel kinda comfortable just bc i would know that all the people around me feel the exact same way that i do and it would just be nice to talk to people that understand shyness because they are also going through it.
