So where are the results ?

Here I am , after 3 weeks of treatment. Xanax 0.25 mg and Serlift 50 mg (some kind of Zoloft).

I took 3 xanax a day and a serlift in the evening.

So I'm asking: when do I get to see the results ? I mean I feel the same, I experience the same symptoms with the same intensity.

I'm begining to feel helpless and with no will to continue here, I have put all my hopes in them and they did nothing. Only sleapeiness, I was sleeping like 12 to 14 hours a day and feeling tired as hell.

I had a few spontaneous joy rushes witch lasted a few minutes and felt like heaven, is it the side effects ? I'm going to see the psychisatrist on monday to tell her my progress, witch is absolutely 0.

I feel so low, like I was the last man on earth, isn't it anything to help with SP except alcohol ?

Banannas was a placebo btw, it was all in my mind, I ate 5 today, I'm full of banannas and still feel like sh*t.

Any advice would be apreciated :roll:

I'm just researching medications right now (haven't tried any yet, so I'm not talking from experience) but everything I've found so far says expect results after 4 to 6 weeks. So...hang in there? That must be so frustrating though, having to wait that long with the side effects and no results. I also did read that many side effects go away as your body gets used to the drugs...maybe the bad gets traded for the good after a while?

hrmm.. I know meds are different for everybody but xanax made me more agitated then when I was not on it. And OMG zoloft was the worst mistake I made. I couldn't function. It pretty much made me paranoid.. I stopped taking it after two weeks because I could streight up not function and though I was either going to hack some one with meat cleaver or do my self in.. I know it's different for everyone..but my experinece with both of these drugs was NOT good.. Good luck Renegade. I hope it does start to work for you.

I'm not a big fan of anti-depressants, I tried Zoloft for about a week, it made me feel weird.

Thx every1 for the replyes. I'm going to see my psychiatrist tomorrow. I'll try continuing with this drugs for a few more weeks and see if I feel different..if not, other meds.

Still, if not, it's alcohol for me for the rest of my life :lol: 24/7 drunk

Here is an update.

Just went to the psychiatrist yesterday and told her I feel no effect of the meds she prescribed me :?

I had to wait my turn to get in, and there were like 12 persons in the waiting room, and don't know why, but everyone was staring at me for the first 3 minutes or so and then they'd carry on with their conversation, but still gave me strange looks from time to time. My anxiety was showing big time Boy that 20 min wait lasted forever :x

Anyway, after that I went in and she started asking me all kind of personal questions, and the fact that was so preety didn't helped at all I was a nervous wreck.

After this, she prescribed me Rivotril 2 mg a day and Serlift 100 mg. She said Rivotril is stronger than Xanax. And she also sugested CBT, but this is sick man, it's like 20 $ a meeting 8O and for me that is a lot of money, to make yourself an idea, my mothers income is 200 $.

But anyway I'm desperate to try everything to get rid of this and actually get a social life for a change.
