Hi All,
I’m back with my second review. This time it is product no 2 listed in my previous review. This one is by SweatStop and its called, yes you guessed it, SweatStop Facial Cream with Aloe Vera.

The company only produces products that combat excessive sweating and got products for all parts of the body including the back. They are made in Germany but the company is Swiss. As I mentioned before in the other review, I had a great time dealing with SweatStop, Order process was very smooth, answered all questions in less than 24hrs and gave me a 10% discount and they have a special delivery price to Aus.

The parcel arrived a few days after I ordered it and was nicely packed with instructions and booklet showing all their products. What’s nice about SweatStop is that they will list all their products and tells u for which level of HH the product is suitable for.

Unlike FaceSaver, but similar to Odaban, the face cream needs to be applied at night and then washed in the morning. Instructions say that you need to use it 1-4 times before you see results and that you can control the level of sweat by varying the amount of lotion and the length and strength of massage, typical Swiss/German accuracy, everything is detailed and engineered, I just love it!!. Application is every 2 -3 days so the 50 ml amount should last for months and months. The product is also clinically tested.

I had my shower last night and dried my face and applied the lotion. It smells nice (nicer than Face Saver), and goes on skin alright, albeit it is a bit liquid. I applied to the forehead. I did not notice any redness or any burning except for the bit that went over a pimple I had with broken skin, slight burning sensation but nothing abnormal. Incidentally, it mentions in the booklet that for bad skin, you can refer to the website for special application method.

Also before I forget, you can use the lotion along with the spray if you have severe facial HH. The lotion is made for level 1-2 HH which is mild to mild/medium.

Another Item to note is that for people suffering hands or foot HH, they have an instant lotion which doesn’t require overnight application.

I woke up this morning and my face was all good, nice and clear and no redness or burning at all. I washed my face and came to work this morning.

So far I can’t comment on its effectiveness as the weather has been cold here in Melbourne, believe it or not we are in middle of summer and we have not had a hot day yet and last weekend was the wettest weekend in 2 years, including winter people!!

I shall update this review as soon as a hot day kicks in.

I’m also awaiting the arrival of Odaban so I can try it on my hair line. This product can also be used for scalp but they recommend you to use the spray which is easier to apply.

Stay cool and stay dry

Ok so had the first test today. After gym head was sweating and so was the forehead but not as much as the scalp which is a good thing for day one. Note that Face Saver gave better results however it does say on the SweatStop that you need to use 1-4 times till it becomes effective. I did kinda have a heat wave and my scalp sweat a bit but forehead was dry so i think it does work. I will apply it for the next three days and see how it goes. Shall update

A quick update ladies and gents.

Have applied it three times now. Second application saw a noticable improvement with a fair good drop in forehead sweating. I only applied it for 2 hours at night before i washed my face as my left eye felt dry all day and thought maybe i rubbed my eye the night before wafter touching my forehead. Eye got better yesterday. last night was my 3rd application and left it all night and washed it this morning. My left eye is dry but im 100% sure i didnt rub it so eaither it is getting absorbed or its just dry on its own due to time spent infront of comp due to work. I had eye laser surgery and my left eye tends to go dry for a few days a couple of times a year so maybe thats all it is. Right eye is normal.

In terms of results, yes i can see improvement today over yesterday with going through couple of situation where i felt hot and my scalp slightly sweated but nothing on my forehead. Tonight will be my 4th and last consecutive applicatin and then i move to maintenance which is every 3 days and see how it pans out.

So far so good.

Also received Odaban and will give it a try around xmas on my hair line and see the effect. Shall update on that too in a seperate thread.
