Hello!

I am a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. I am currently working on my dissertation in which I am investigating the potential effect of one's childhood relationships with parents and peers on the development of Social Anxiety Disorder. I am posting to this message board as one means of recruiting potential participants.

Questionnaires are sent in the mail (with a self addressed stamped envelope to return to me), so it is NOT necessary to live in Chicago to participate (though you do need to live in the US).

If you have already participated (since this plea for help has been posted on other message boards), THANK YOU. If you have not already participated and you think that you might be interested in participating in the study, please read on to see if you are eligible, to find out about prizes, and to find out how to contact me to obtain questionnaires...
