I also suffer from Depression. Hang in there! I went through a very bad episode a few months ago and was prescribed Venlafaxine (Generic for Effexor). It has definitely helped with practically no side effects.
Keep in mind, that particular medication may not be as effective for you or may not work all together. Not to mention with every anti-depressant there are some people who suffer from horrible side effects. You should consult a doctor, and decide if medication is right for you.
