  • It ends up being a combined problem between four areas of the body which have been proven to be tied together in many ways by others besides myself. The thyroid, sex hormones, insulin (blood sugar balance) and stress hormones (cortisol). Myself and several others have low blood sugar in addition to symptoms of hypothyroidism and low sex hormones, which makes sense. Those having problems like this have no sex drive but they might think it's because of the anxiety or depression but it's really just a symptom of the endocrine problem.

So far, nobody has "tested" as having hypothyroidism. Not sure why that keeps being a problem. Also, few people report a full "cure" such as I have experienced.
What is your health history? What symptoms do you notice and have you ever been on hormonal birth control? I'm having trouble posting the original message to you for some stupid reason my computer is being difficult but I thought I'd atleast ask you some info before posting things that might be relevant to you...

It's not about treating the symptoms so much as it would be about rectifying the problem. Which is where the above questions come into play...
    Hi

My sister had something done to fix her thyroid. My tests for hypothyroidism were negative. Yet if that result may be incorrect, then I should continue to look into it.

There has been mention on this very website that the symptoms of hypothyroidism are the same as social phobia. Obviously if it is purely a physical issue, then that is relatively easy to treat. You said that happened in your case.

I infer that you had a second test done (?) If I am going to keep looking into it, I was wondering how to go about it.
If you know how physicians operate, you know that tests don't always work. Simple as that.

What are your curious about exactly? Do you have hypothyroidism?
    Hi

How were you diagnosed with hypothyroidism, given that your thyroid tests came back normal?
