I don't know why I assumed you were from the United States. Over here we have a problem with overpopulation of cats and dogs. That is why I mentioned adopting one instead. Seriously, I am always wanting to adopt kitties I see on the street. But three is too many!

Today I had a major scare thinking one of my cats had gotten run over. It was another cat, one that looked just like my baby, so sad. I would like them to be indoor cats but there are other people in the house and they don't care as much. It is not cruel at all to keep them indoors. It is preferable. They can catch diseases and fleas outside, or get injured or even killed like you mentioned. If you are gonna get a cat, adopt one from a shelter. Or even one from the street (like I did! just take 'em to a vet to get their shots and stuff).

I used to have guinea pigs, and my cats would stare and stare but they never did attempt anything. Cats are the easiest to potty train: you just show them a litter box, run their paws in it a couple times and they know what to do. Cleaning it up though, can be gross :/
I like Morrissey's stuff as well, though I have not heard his more recent stuff. The lyrics are the best. I have had the chance to see him in concert three times. Truly fantastic performer. Do you like Elliott Smith by any chance? His lyrics are really good too.
