Hi.

Does any one know a way of testing an ionto machines efficiency?

Would a machine still work if either the +ve or -ve jack in (dont know what they are called ) is broken or would the circuit not be completed?

I have an Idromed 5 GS - When I use it I can feel the +ve but not in the -ve tray. I have also noticed my hand/foot in -ve tray is feeling clammy again.

Sorry but I am not technical and dont know names etc

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Idromed 4 GS-I think the layout is similar. Have you tried simple things like taking the cables out of the sockets and blowing in the sockets (that connect to the main power box).
I take it the power box is working? i.e. the light is on.

If one of the cables isn't working at all then I'm sure treatments won't work as the complete connection wouldn't be, well-complete.

You should feel a tingling sensation in both hands when placed in the trays with water and the machine is on and turned up-usually past 5mA

It might just be the cable that's faulty-the cable that goes from the tray to the power box. If you do hand and feet treatments separately then maybe try just using the tray with the + for both hands and put your feet in the other - tray and swop when necessary, (so both hands are getting the full treatment)

Try contacting where you got it from and see if they know.

HH,

thanks for the reply. Thinking it may be the cable or the end it goes into. Cable accidentally got pulled out whilst machine was in operation.

I am feeling the tingling on the +ve tray but rarely feeling anything on the left side. Will keep perservering, hopefully get a good result.

Will also contact manufacturer and supplier and see what they say.

I was just wondering if there is a device I could use to check that the output of amps is waht it should be.

thanks again
