Hormones and hyperhidrosis

I recently started taking birth control. It was tri-phasic so had different amounts of hormones each week. I noticed that when the amount of estrogen was higher, my sweating was much less. When the amount of progesterone was higher, my sweating was awful. I went to the obgyn and asked if I could get a hormone test to see if my estrogen was low, but first she said they never test estrogen levels. After I showed her on my phone that they do hormone tests, she said I have to stop taking birth control for a few months and then I could get the test. Has anyone noticed their sweating was better based on birth control/hormones?

Well lots of women get hot flushes and sweats during the menopause which presumably is all to do with hormone levels. Have you considered taking a sage supplement? It's very highly recommended for women with menopausal flushes. Might help.
