Has anyone experienced a loved one passing away?

My father died a year ago and I still don't believe it's true and I don't deal with the pain because I can't; I just ignore it. If I think about it I know it'll hurt way too much. I want to start talking about it with people who have experienced a loved one passing away...please give me some advice. I'm mortified.::

My grandmother died a year ago as well. She lived with us since I was a kid and was one of the sweetest person I know. I never deal with the pain either cos it hurts so much and I'm afraid I'll just end up being very depressed if I even think about it. Sorry I didn't help at all, just wanted to let it out. I hope someone gives some very helpful advice.
