Getting Avert sent to Ireland or UK?

Hi, I have been reading the entries on this website for a few weeks now & think Avert/Glycopyrrolate wipes from pharmacy.ca could be the answer to my problems once & for all.

I am spending 6 weeks in South East Asia this summer and am terrified my cranial HH will ruin my holiday, like it has so many others.

My question is has anyone ordered from pharmacy.ca to the UK or Ireland, if so how much is the shipping cost & what is the process? Is it simply a case of filling out a form & paying or is it more complex than that?

Regards

Alrite mate ! I am thinking of doing the exactly the same thing as you , but only getting the wipes . The delivery cost is around $30 (about £15) I think there is no complication of getting the things but they dont seem to convert the currency to £ on the website.

Hi Guys,

I have just ordered some Secure wipes and avert tablets to be shipped here to the UK. It cost 30 euros for shipping.

The total bill was £48 delivered

I just placed my order on-line, they sent me an email confirmation plus a link to their website to fill out an online consultancy form. I filled the form out (they ask you lots of questions about your medical history, where you sweat etc). They sent me an email today giving me some advise and saying that the goods were being sent today.

All in all, a very professional service so far :D

All i need is for the stuff to work!!

I will let you know what effect it has for me once i have tried it.

Avert update,

My order was delivered on friday......so an excellent service :D . I applied 1 pad yesterday and was amazed that there was no irritation at all (after using driclor etc for some time even 1 application of that itches like hell) I will see how effective the pads are before i resort to the tablets.

I will use the avert pads this week and see how effective they are for me....i will keep you posted

Hey bud, was just wondering how the wipes are going? Still no irritation? Have you started using the pills yet? Had a pretty bad weekend with the HH so really keen to get my hands on a solution

Hiya,

I almost dont want to say the words.....but so far they seem to be working.

I think the main difference between the secure wipes and the aluminium chloride solutions is that they dont block the sweat glands (which causes irritation), but they block the signal to the gland. Also my understanding of how to use them is you apply on the morning of the day you want it to work.

Getting back to your question, no irratation so far, infact no noticable side affects at all.

I have not taken a pill yet.....i am a bit hesitant to as i dont want to become reliant on pills. If i can control my 'worst bits' with the wipes i think my stress and panic attacks will reduce, and hopefully i will sweat less in general (positive thinking :? ) .

I understand that some of the Glycopyrrolate can be absorbed into the blood stream through the skin - so you need to be carefull about how many wipes you use each day (ie you could not wipe your whole body)

Sorry to read that you had a bad weekend - a personal question...where abouts do you sweat?

I think I'm pretty unique in that I sweat all on my face and hardly nothing on the rest of my body so as you can imagine I get pretty conscious of it and the more conscious of it I get the worse the sweating gets.

I'm gonna buy both the pills and the wipes but too be honest i'm pretty set on the pills. I know it's bad to get reliant on pills so I'm gonna use the wipes first like yourself but my main hope is for the pills.

So where do you sweat yourself? When you say the wipes worked are we talking bone dry or just reduced sweating?

I had ETS back in 1996 for palmer HH. I now have bad compensatory sweating as a result of the operation. This hits me worst on my back, chest, ass and legs. I can easily soak my shirt through in less than 10 mins if hot and stressed

As for the improvement with the secure wipes....i would not say i am bone dry, but i go from enough sweat to leave a wet patch on clothes to what i would describe as 'sticky' if that makes sence (still sweating but not running off me)

When i was a teenager i used to take pro banthane tablets to stop my hands and feet sweating. I am a bit cautious about tablets because of my experience with pro banthane. i found that as it affected my whole body i would seriously overheat in hot weather and go as red as a tomato! so be careful if you are visiting hot countries as you need to sweat a bit to stop yourself becoming ill. secondly the effects wore off over time, after about 1 year, they were useless. thirdly they made it hard for me to go for a 'pee' no matter how desperate i was - i had to wait until the tablet had worn off.

I guess what i am trying to say is go for the pills if you need to, but have a few test trys at home first, and make sure you still sweat a bit (enough to keep you cool) and you dont exhibit any other nasty side affects. Also try to use the tablets only when you have to....to prolong the time they are effective for
