Doubts on your actions

One of the most frustrating aspects of OCD is the doubts about our actions. We are never sure of what we may did or not. Sometimes I'm convinced to have done everything that obviously I immensily fear about and I would never do. The greatest fear is that an inconscious part of me is doing it and that my brain doesn't remember. How do you manage those doubts. Should I simply ignore them?

It sucks sooooo much when your OCD makes you check things over and over. Like when you check that something is locked and you know its locked but your mind asks you, did you really lock the door. Or you mind asks you constantly things like, did you leave something bad behind, is there something there that shouldnt be, etc. It sucks really bad.

Thanks very much for your post. The biggest problem for me is living with the doubts of having made something that hits against the rules of my OCD. Please excuse my bad english. I hope you understand. Thanks again for your help and assistance.

Well they say OCD happens because of a need for certainty. Try to do things even if you aren't 100% certain as long as you are at least 70% certain. I.e. as long as you are 70% certain that you have locked the door just leave it. But then you may get into some shit like I'm not sure if I'm 70% certain about being 70% certain. I think you have to just STOP if this is happening. Just stop.

It really sucks when your mind starts going in circles like that. When you think your pretty sure you locked the door but your mind starts questioning if your even pretty sure and all that. It just goes back and forth. Theres like an antithesis to any answer you have.
