Does anyone know html/javascript/etc?

I'm attempting to create my own extension for the Firefox browser .. but it's real slow going & frustrating. I've got all the good ideas, but not very much patience to learn html/etc in the correct way (as have ADD/impatient/impulsive/etc). But i am learning this stuff in my own chaotic way - seems too be my natural tendency & learning style.

But i'm wondering if anyone on here is good or okay with mainly html & javascript & css. If so, then maybe i could give them sth to do (a project to help me with). This project is really the only thing i'm doing with my life at present, all else barely interests me (probably my aspergers/introversion at play here).

Or maybe even sby could point me in the right direction? (support, collaboration, etc).

Just a few basic details about the extension:
- It will be "a step up" from all the current extensions (eg in terms of user interface & ease of use)
- It will involve security, customizing of webpages visited, time management (when browsing the web)
- No idea if there'd be any money in it (as most extensions are freeware). But ideally there would be, as i don't work (& i wouldn't mind having a paying "career"). Of course i would like to pay any helpers what they deserve (if it makes money that is)
- I know there'll be loads of people out there who could help me with this, but i've been hesitant about trying seek help, as it would complicate matters, & also finding sby i can trust (in various ways) is another concern of mine.

Any help with this matter would be appreciated...

Never mind...

ps: i guess it was a bit too much to expect any SA'ers on here to know such technical stuff .. not the easiest of fields is programming/html/javascript/etc .. i might just "waddle" along myself .. i'll get there sooner or later i suppose...

ps2: maybe i might just have to "bite the bullet" & seek assistance from people i dont know (not that i barely know hardly anyone on here really) .. but who have the expertise i am seeking; i know i can learn all this stuff myself, just need a bit more patience i guess, & need to figure out if i really need to accomplish it by any specific date or approach it like all else in my life - no specific goals, no deadlines, etc (which hasnt really gotten me very far at all in life tbh)

This is the first time I've seen your thread. I did some a few years ago. I was alright at html and css. I kinda sucked at javascript. I also know python and java.

I'm in the same boat when it comes to learning stuff. So i paid for lessons. The lessons had a practical element to it and it really helped. They would teach us something and then we would do an exercise where we used what we were just taught

I haven't done any of this in a few years though so I'm not confident in my abilities. I could try to brush up on it. I would be happy to help but I don't think I would actually be that much help to you. I'm pretty sure I've forgotten a lot.

If you want me to help you then I will try but, like I said before, I'm not confident in my abilities at the moment. I still have my text books, exercise books, and lecture notes though so I can re learn stuff.

Hey, I'm actually still learning about the html, css and javascript stuff, its quiet confusing manipulating the DOM. If you still need anything that I can add value to pm me if you wish.

I've got a java/c# background taken from technical school about a year ago, built a few applications and mobile apps with that.
